Thinksharp Foundation team is helping 5 villages and approx more than 3000 rural children by providing  better rural educational infrastructure  through 5 StudyMall projects as of Aug 2017. Our aim is to put one village one StudyMall throughout India. As we are progressing we are getting lot of inquiries to establish StudyMall from lot of villages . While we would love to help and set up StudyMall in each and every village that approaches us, however due to funds and operational challenges we prioritize villages. On 27 June 2017 we opened our fifth project at Chorwaghalgaon village which helps 225 students. Chorwaghalgoan is a small village in Vaijapur taluqa, District Aurangabad. Our volunteer Mr.Amol Nikam introduced us to the Village and helped us by being our point of contact with the Z.P. Prathamik School, Chorwaghalgaon. One of other key supporter to make this entire project possible is Mr.Pankaj Salunke. This StudyMall is set up in the Z.P. Prathamik School, village Chorwaghalgaon which enrolls children from 1st to 7th standard. The school has total 7 classrooms out of which only 2 are RCC.  Total number of teachers is 8. This school has 225 students, 108 boys and 113 girls. School timing is from 9.30 to 4 pm and Saturday is half day. Chorwagahalgaon village has total…

When our internet is not working we feel, "oh well, if it was working i would have completed my presentation for tomorrow".  That  moment we realize that to function and give our best in our day to day life we really need to have  access to best infrastructure with us required to complete that job. Rural children too have lot of potential and if provided with right educational infrastructure they can do so much to reach there full potential. Thanks to our more than 50 regular individual donors and other anonymous, corporate, organisational donors who are doing exactly this  job "providing the right educational infrastructure at right time for rural children" by supporting StudyMall. StudyMall received Digital Trail Blazer Award 2016.

Our project “StudyMall” received Digital Trail Blazer Award at Digital India Conclave event . This Award was presented by Hon'ble Chief Minister of Maharashtra Mr.Devendra Fadnavis  for bringing digital education to rural children of Maharashtra. The Digital India conclave was presented by HP India in association with India Today Television and KPMG.  The Digital India Conclave is India's first conclave that brings together the best of minds, talent and people with a varied range of expertise in the digital field from all over the country. We were honored to share the award with 4 other esteemed organisations. 1) AAPLE SARKAR APP, DEPARTMENT OF I.T - GOVT. OF MAHARASHTRA initiative which address public grievances while ensuring participative governance. We received the appreciation  and participation trophy by chief guest Mr.Sushilkumar Shinde,  Former Union Minister, Government of India at this prestigious event .   The CSR Journal is an online portal which connects the NGO / Social enterprises on a single portal. Preeti an 7th std standard student from village Surungali in 2013 told us "she wants to be astronaut" that amazed us. Because in a village of hardly any TV, Satellite, forget about internet but no desktops and 2 school at long distances with poor infrastructure her confidence and knowledge that she wants to be an astronaut. We asked her what she is doing for achieving to be astronaut, she said she goes to school but she does not know exactly how to be one? She spends her time after school looking after her younger brother and doing daily chores of house till her parents return from farm. She does not have place to study or read amazing stories of astronauts after school or in school, she does not  have access to…

Include better sitting place during and after school. It also provides Books, Educational games, Toys, Computer learning, Digital/ Multimedia learning, and conducts workshops on various topics. Problem that we intend to solve Lack of better place to sit after school for study Poor infrastructure of schools which fail to give required educational facilities Libraries are either absent or are at long distances Rural children do not have access to digital / Multimedia learning. Impact of StudyMall At present with one StudyMall the statistics are- More than 1500 children are getting advantage of our current StudyMall Increase in awareness regarding education and its need by 25 to 30% of previous level.…
