On 27 June 2017 we opened our fifth project at Chorwaghalgaon village which helps 225 students. Chorwaghalgoan is a small village in Vaijapur taluqa, District Aurangabad. Our volunteer Mr.Amol Nikam introduced us to the Village and helped us by being our point of contact with the Z.P. Prathamik School, Chorwaghalgaon. One of other key supporter to make this entire project possible is Mr.Pankaj Salunke. This StudyMall is set up in the Z.P. Prathamik School, village Chorwaghalgaon which enrolls children from 1st to 7th standard. The school has total 7 classrooms out of which only 2 are RCC.  Total number of teachers is 8. Thinksharp Foundation team has another proud moment as its achievement this year.  Our project "StudyMall" was selected among all the other NGO's from India to be presented at Sandbox Samvidha, Deshpande foundation. One of the most exciting and motivational factor  for us about this event was a chance  to meet Dr.Gururaj “Desh” Deshpande sir. Words might fall short to describe. Dr. Deshpande, Founder of Deshpande Foundation, Hubbali. He has pursued an entrepreneurial career for the last three decades.  He is involved either as the founder, a founding investor or chairman of several companies.Dr. Deshpande lives in Boston and serves as a life-member of the MIT Corporation, and he is responsible for MIT’s Deshpande Center for Technological Innovation at Massachusetts. Deshpande Foundation has three other centers. He  co-chairs as a National Council to support…

Preeti an 7th std standard student from village Surungali in 2013 told us "she wants to be astronaut" that amazed us. Because in a village of hardly any TV, Satellite, forget about internet but no desktops and 2 school at long distances with poor infrastructure her confidence and knowledge that she wants to be an astronaut. We asked her what she is doing for achieving to be astronaut, she said she goes to school but she does not know exactly how to be one? She spends her time after school looking after her younger brother and doing daily chores of house till her parents return from farm. Include better sitting place during and after school. It also provides Books, Educational games, Toys, Computer learning, Digital/ Multimedia learning, and conducts workshops on various topics. Problem that we intend to solve Lack of better place to sit after school for study Poor infrastructure of schools which fail to give required educational facilities Libraries are either absent or are at long distances Rural children do not have access to digital / Multimedia learning. Impact of StudyMall At present with one StudyMall the statistics are- More than 1500 children are getting advantage of our current StudyMall Increase in awareness regarding education and its need by 25 to 30% of previous level.…
