Thinksharp Foundation team is helping 5 villages and approx more than 3000 rural children by providing \u00a0better rural educational infrastructure \u00a0through 5 StudyMall projects as of Aug 2017.<\/p>\n

Our aim is to put one village one StudyMall throughout India. As we are progressing we are getting lot of inquiries to establish StudyMall from lot of villages . While we would love to help and set up StudyMall in each and every village that approaches us, however due to funds and operational challenges we prioritize villages.<\/p>\n

Thinksharp foundation team has decided to help 10 villages in this financial year (preferably by Dec 2017).\u00a0Out of this 10 villages one is Village Poshir, Tq-karjat, Dist- Raigad which will have Digital class under StudyMall project.This is a small village close to Neral.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Thinksharp Foundation team Shraddha and Santosh visited village Poshir \u00a0as a part of\u00a0pre visit on 05 Aug 2017<\/strong>. We were very fortunate to have with us Mr.Paste sir who has been very helpful and supportive throughout our entire visit of villages in Raigad district.<\/p>\n

\"low<\/p>\n

Poshir is a small village with a population of only 2135 people.<\/strong> There are \u00a0four schools in village, two are \u00a0Anganwadi for 3 to 6 year old children and other two schools in Village are \u00a0Raigad Z.P.School Poshir and Jamia Vidyamandir High school. \u00a0There are approxiamte 312 school\/college going children. The nearest railway station is Neral (Mumbai railway connectivity).<\/p>\n

We visited Raigad Z.P. School Poshir.\u00a0This school enrolls students from 1st to 4th std.<\/strong>\u00a0This is a tribal school and hence most of the students are from poor families and there parents also lack educational awareness. Total number of students in school currently is 123\u00a0(61 boys and 62 girls)<\/strong>\u00a0. Total number of teachers is 04. The school has has 06 classrooms and 02 \u00a0of them are RCC. The school does not have any library, digital classroom or any extracurricular activity infrastructure for children.<\/p>\n

When we talked with few parents and the existing \u00a0teachers we found them very keen and passionate about making the school more children friendly and to equip school with better educational infrastructure. The children were reading English lessons, comprehending maths and other questions from there textbooks as per the age and class.<\/p>\n

The children were very interactive, and requested us to provide CCTV, we were surprised with this request . When we asked them reason, they said few people trash there school at night and they do not like there school getting damaged.<\/strong>This clearly reflects the love they have for there school.<\/p>\n

We are very excited to help this 123\u00a0students read and learn better.<\/strong>\u00a0Our StudyMall project-Digital class \u00a0in this school will create an motivation and increase interest among the tribal students to attend school. Moreover it will also increase awareness among the parents on importance of education.<\/p>\n

Please help us in providing them better rural educational infrastructure.<\/p>\n
